Raised Spot on 9 month old cheeks

Hope everyone's having a good day.

My DD has raised spots on both her cheeks - been there for 3 months now (attached image).

She's good otherwise - feeding, sleeping well, started crawling a week ago and other developments are fine.

We went to GP 1 month after it appeared and he said it's nothing to worry about and should go away in sometime by itself. It's been 2 months since then and they are still there.

Any advise or I'm just worried too much.

Thanks.

They look quite normal to me. I think you can trust the GP on this one. Did he say it was baby milia/ milk spots?

No - didn't say anything like that.

Just said apply normal moisturising cream and it should go away.

Baby milia/ milk spots is probably what it is. Perfectly normal and will generally fade away over the coming months. Try to keep clean and dry. Perhaps don't overdo the moisturising, in case it is blocking the pores.

If they change like an increase over a much larger area or get red and angry looking, you would want to go back for another check.
