What kind of recipe book do I need?

I'm looking for family meals (so serving 5 for us) which-

  • are hot
  • have lots of veg but low on tomatoes
  • take about an hour to cook but can include some early prep eg at lunchtime for a 5pm tea
  • don't involve loads of cooked cheese
  • don't always involve heavy sauces.

I'm really struggling. Any suggestions?

Buy a general family cookbook. You can filter out tomato or cheese heavy

Things without sauces you are less likely to see in a cook book because cooking chops potatoes and veg doesn't need a recipe

I’d say you want the BBC Good Food website.
