I’ve recently bought Margot Selby towels from John Lewis and they’re lovely. I think cheaper than white company, but still on the pricey side. Very happy though.

I previously bought Christy towels, but always in the sale.

I have no lovely towels. Mine are all a bit threadbare or crunchy from being dried on an airer or bleached from ds's medicated face wash or faded from being taken to swimming lessons. No matching sets like I had pre kids and the nice ones I gotnfor my ensuite have been used and ruined by the kids. Iwish I was the kind of person to have lovely fluffy towels like my mil. Hers come from m&s or John Lewis btw.

I replaced all my towels last year with Harlequin velour towels, no idea on price for the set and they seem to be reduced now but I love the feel of them. Not this colour/design but this type of towel.

Scion from TK Maxx

TwinkleDee · 05/10/2024 11:31

Dd was home from uni over the summer and as I did the laundry I noticed how lovely her towels were. Beautifully thick with a nice long pile, still soft and "cosily comforting". We bought them from Primark 4 years ago and she won't have been that particular with laundering. Certainly more airer dried than tumble dried.
My towels need to be replaced and that's where I'll be going for them.

theemptinessmachine · 05/10/2024 11:38

Try the Habitat ones from Sainsbury. Next are also pretty good.

TizerorFizz · 05/10/2024 11:42

@Newtowelspleases Ive got M&S Luxury Egyptian cotton. They are very very good. They do a heavier one that’s more expensive but these come in lots of colours although I buy white towels.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 05/10/2024 11:43

The Primark luxury towels are great.

Chateauneufdu · 05/10/2024 11:44

Nope, far too dull

TimothyIsNotAnArmardillo · 05/10/2024 12:27

Treated myself to John Lewis ones about five years ago and they are still in great condition

DaphneduM · 05/10/2024 12:56

Missoni towels - while they're not cheap, the quality is amazing and they definitely make a statement with their beautiful colours! They sometimes have them for sale in T K Maxx.

DustyLee123 · 05/10/2024 12:57

My Dunelm towels wash well, and I’m happy with them.

TheFlis · 05/10/2024 12:59

We got a massive bundle of the John Lewis Egyptian Cotton ones for a wedding present. 8 years later they are still like new!

Elektra1 · 05/10/2024 13:04
