I belong to a couple of dog interest groups linked to the breed of dog I own. I quite often see threads saying ‘My dog needs a name’ with a photo of a cute puppy, although sometimes the dog looks older. I’ve rarely posted on them, but today noticed someone put ‘spam’ in the comments.
Presuming he wasn’t suggested Spam as a name, why are these threads up? If it is spam, what do they gain from a random suggestion of a name?
