Craving something that’s been discontinued, MN hivemind - please help!

Help! I’m 29 weeks pregnant and all I want is the Cream N Cheesy NikNaks that were discontinued in 2006. I can’t think of anything that tastes remotely like them. Quavers won’t cut it and Cheetos have the right texture but are too cheesy.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I like a NikNak. I never tried those, I liked the scampi and lemon ones, and I haven't seen them for a long time. Just trying to imagine what cheesy ones would be like.

What about those football cheesy filled things that are around at Christmas (but may be on amazon)?

They were really mild, almost buttery in flavour! More creamy than cheesy! I haven’t had them since I was 12, yet I can almost feel them in my mouth

Tesco cheese balls are too Wotsity for me, I can’t deal with them sticking in my teeth

I used to love Cheese NikNaks. The only thing I can think of is giant Wotsits.

Aldi's do sour cream and chive starry night snacks which are quite creamy and only a little bit cheesy. They're not niknaky tho.

Simba Cheese Nik Naks from South Africa (available in SA shops and online) are pretty good but perhaps too cheesy as a direct replacement

Cheetos. Not the cheese puff type, the other ones that are Nik Nak shape.

You need these! Taste exactly the same. They're like crack, can't get enough of them

They have ruined pringels now, they aren't as crunchy, and the sour cream ones just taste of salty onion 😡

She doesn't want anything 'really cheesy' though. The ones she liked were creamy tasting with a tiny hint of cheese. More of a cream cheese flavour.

Scampi & Lemon are back. I have a pack in my cupboard, you see them in places like B & M and the corner shops that also have ace full-sugar imported drinks!

These M&S crisps are delicious.

Aldi do cheese and chive lattices that has a very similar taste. Texture wise I can't think of anything similar. Have you had a look to see if they still do that flavour in other countries?
