I’ve several times been mistaken for an Irish soap actress. I’m not sure this is a compliment. She had excellent fair, but her long running character had chronic resting bitch face.

In my head I'm Lauren Bacall or perhaps Kristen Scott Thomas.

Physically, not quite so much although I've been compared to Eleanor Bron, who is also fine.

I had to look up her name, because they always just said ‘the redhead from Fair City’ or ‘your one who had the thing with Barry O’Hanlon’ — she’s called Clelia Murphy. And may not even be red-haired. And may be a smiley type when not playing that character. (Mind you, if I were shagging Barry O’Hanlon, I’d probably look fairly unimpressed as well.)

I don't watch FC but I would actually recognise her unlike the FC actress who was sitting beside me in the pub and I hadn't a clue she was off the telly until someone told me

DH said my voice reminded him of Jo Brand as a compliment once when we were dating. I was heartbroken! (His compliments have much improved over time)

I just get compared to random brown-Asian people, the latest being Riz Ahmed, I don’t look anything like him, but we do have similar mannerisms. Another one is Neil Amin-Smith which pains me for various reasons, we do look a bit alike, but I don’t have tiny little inset eyes.
