Hey everyone 👋

I have recently started to home school my daughter, does anyone know of any homeschool groups that meet up etc?
I live in Lancashire and it’s a struggle finding families who also homeschool.

Have you looked on Facebook, a lot of them are there?
There's some lovely home educators (that's the right terminology btw) who post here but it mostly just attracts annoying hostile comments on MN sadly.

Hi! You'll find lots of help/assistance on HEFA (Home Education For All) on Facebook. It's a great starting place and will help you find your local groups.

Join the Home Education Lancashire Facebook group and ask there.

Another vote for HEFA on Facebook. You'll get 100% more support on there than on here. Then search on FB for local groups such as Home Education Lancashire and Home Education in whatever towns/cities are local to you. Good luck from a HE veteran! 🍀
