Are we having a boy or girl?

Hello! I just had my 12 week scan and I’m so curious if you can tell at all from the scan if it’s a girl or boy… I don’t think you can at all but sharing in case any more experienced people can.

their heart rate was 157 so going off that old wives tale would indicate it’s a girl… but I have no idea!

If the sonographer thought it was possible to tell, why wouldn't they tell you?

Their priority was lots of other things (measuring size, screening for chromosomal defects etc).

also maybe it isn’t possible based on what you as visible, but who knows!
