Unusual but delicious sandwich fillings

I had a cheese sandwich today and had run out of pickle. So I scanned the pantry and decided to try a bit of mint sauce. Delicious!

What other fillings am I missing out on?

I often have a cheese toastie with lime pickle and a tiny bit of mayo.

Tuna mayo celery and crispy onions
Coronation Jackfruit
Sausage, crumbled caerphilly and caramelised red onion chutney

Egg mayo and black olives is also scummy, in a granary baguette if possible

Marmite and sliced (not mashed) banana on toast is amazing

Mature cheddar and chilli jam toastie

Hot mashed potato with loads of salt and butter on cheap white bread

Veggie sausages on crusty white bread with Ghanaian Shito sauce

Cheese and Shito mixed with mayo on crusty white bread

I’m hungry now

Cold sausages and cream cheese
Sardines and tomato
Chicken, pineapple, pesto and mozzarella (grilled / pressed)

white bread, proper butter, banana with sprinkled sugar.

Cheese and Hoisin sauce. Preferably toasted so the cheese is all lovely and melty.

Sliced turkey, cream cheese and coleslaw
Beef, bre and apple chutney (even better grilled)
Chocolate and crunchy peanut butter
Hummous, crispy iceberg lettuce and salad cream (best in a warm pitta)

@WinterCarlisle I don't think my sensory system would cope with mash in bread.

Hummus and harissa...with cucumber and red peppers..some rocket too

Tomato paste, sea salt, a little bit of olive oil and cucumber slices on top.

A little bit of olive oil on a pita or tortilla, and a generous sprinkle of zaatar on top.

Cheese ,marmite and peanut butter..an absolutely amazing combination!

Stilton, mango chutney and grapes.

Banana in a sandwich is just wrong 😑

Crisps and ketchup.
Mashed potato and ketchup.
Peanut butter and jam.
Avocado and chilli sauce.

Wedge (or 2) of cold leftover Spanish omelette (with cheese, onion, peppers and potatoes), mayo mixed with bit of hot sauce and some rocket.
Served in 2 slices of wholemeal bread.

Delicious and haven't had it for ages.

Emmental with apple and pear butter on rye bread.
Emmental with grated carrot, chopped walnuts, thinly sliced tomatoes, rocket, scrape of mayo. Ideally in a black olive roll!

My mum used to make the most amazing sandwiches - boiled eggs done just a tiny bit softer than "hard boiled", still warm, with salad cream and watercress on lightly toasted granary bread. Literal perfection.

Ham and banana on brown bread.
