Alternative to grammar school high wycombe

Hello,
I wonder if anyone can recommend a good non-grammar secondary school in High wycombe. My son will be starting in September 2025 and want to finalise an application. Any recommendations please?

Holmer Green. Excellent teaching

I had a look at Holmer Green and seems very good but unfortunately we are out of its catchment area and it seems they dont take may out of their catchment area. Not sure if you know anyone that managed to get in there without being in catchment area?

I'm not sure - it would be worth seeing subscription numbers as they vary year on year.

Anyone has any idea/experience about Cressex community school and/or Highcrest Academy?

Cressex is quite good too. Nice area to live in as well.

I am not sure about highcrest but Cressex is apparently doing well academically.

Ha just seen this and could not disagree more, shocking school.
