My friend is having a surprise baby shower and we have been asked to bring a book with a message inside instead of a card

What book did you love for your baby? I’m thinking of ‘Guess how much I love you’ but wanna see what other people suggest Grin

Rainbow fish or Large Family (Elephants) books all in one piece, 5 mins peace etc

Peck Peck Peck by Lucy Cousins is a good one for little ones - lots of chances for tickles and kisses.

Goodnight Everyone by Chris Haughton is lovely too.

Don't go with ten little fingers/guess how much I love you/the wonderful things you'll be/the gruffalo as she'll likely end up with several of each!

Together - by Emma Dodd.
Borrowed it from the library and then bought it because I loved it so much. I see there's now a 4-book collection which would make a lovely gift.

I read this to both my DDs to the point I didn't need to look at the words.

For Christmas - again, a beautiful book that got read endlessly when my girls were little.

My final offering, this book was so well loved that I couldn't have given it away if I'd tried.

If you see a kitten by John butler. Great short interactive book. My son loved it and didn’t get bored with too
much text. He knew it word for word by 2

The Jolly Postman is great. Its one to put away for a while but its lots of fun for toddlers.

All of my children and grandchildren have enjoyed Jesus’ Christmas Party about a grumpy inn keeper being disturbed again and again through the night! Stomping down stairs to answer the door to all the callers!

The Lion Inside by Rachel Bright. Such a gorgeous story about a mouse and a lion, and no matter how small we are, we can all be mighty.
