Anyone know about LinkedIn etiquette - is this ok to do?

I have recently made a LinkedIn account for the first time, and so I have 0 connections. Is it appropriate to just add anyone I have worked with, or would that be weird? I left my job last year for health reasons and one of my managers treated me very poorly (I won't be adding them on LinkedIn lol), so I feel a bit awkward about it. Then in my most recent job I got made redundant - the only one in my team to have been.

Would it be awkward to add my colleagues? Or is it normal and just the 'done' thing?

Definitely do it, that’s what it’s for.

i usually add people I have engaged with in some way, ie worked with, are a customer, supplier etc.

Yep go for it, it’s the done thing, I have all sorts of people that I worked with years ago on it.

Totally normal.
