Shout magazine from the 90s

Long shot but does anyone know where you can buy old Shout magazines, specifically from 1995 onwards? I’m having a nostalgic period and would love to read through my childhood magazines, especially any festive editions!

I’ve looked on eBay, vinted, depop and magazine collectors (online) but they are all sold out and the ones on eBay are earlier ones.

I’ve had a look but can’t find earlier than early 2000s. I was more of a Smash Hits girl myself 😂

There is an Instagram account that takes photos of pages in someone's old copies of j17 and sugar I'll try to link it when I next see a post can't remember what it's called

Just keep looking on ebay. There's also a company specialising in back issues of children's comics and teen magazines. Can't remember what it's called. But it's easily googled

This original posts on the thread prompted us to do an episode on Smash Hits for our podcast. Had to include the Poll Winners Party as well as the magazine, because it was just all kinds of awesome!

There must be something in the air. I've been thinking about J17 more etc. Would love to buy some old copies and see how I view them through middle aged eyes 🤣

@Sunsetsandcocktails I've taken a load of photos but MN are temporarily not allowing photos to be uploaded after recent events (understandably). Hopefully it'll be reinstated soon but if not I'll create an insta page or something and pop them on there.

I think I still have a pink hair comb somewhere that came free with Shout once in 1997 or 98. Best wide-toothed comb I ever had. I loved the combination of song lyrics, "true" stories and beauty advice in one place.

@PrincessAnne5Eva Is it a pink glittery colour? If so then I still have the same one in purple. Shout was like the younger more innocent sibling of Sugar, Bliss and J17 which were more risque and scandalous.

I used to love Shout! I had a collection from approximately 1996 -1999 when I was mid teens. They followed me from my childhood home to my first house and I used to love reading through them with adult eyes! Sadly the garage flooded so I had to throw them out, I was absolutely devastated! I used to love the problem pages and real life stories. I think. I may still have one of the spooky stories special books that came as a free gist somewhere in storage! I've searched on eBay etc to see if anyone is selling old copies but haven't come across any yet.

OMG yes that's the one! By 14 I started reading Sugar - you're right, it was definitely for an older audience than Shout! 😅 For a while I'd buy either depending on which had the most compelling "true" story titles on the cover though lol.

Will check them first then show dd 13. She thinks the 90s is the old old days 🤣 she was shocked to learn I was alive along side Freddie Mercury and Princess Diana 🤣 oh to be young!

@MidnightBloom I'll put some more up over the weekend. Being alive at the same time as Freddie and Princess Di isn't as bad as asking if you remember the industrial revolution, which is what I genuinely once asked my mum. To say that she was not impressed would be an understatement 😳.
