I had no idea where to post this, I have never posted before!
I just wondered if anyone had any views on Hersham? Particularly the road Queen's road that is just off the village green?
We are looking at purchasing a house there (a move from central London) to start a family and be there a good few years.
We love the house and the current village feel and we are really pleased with the neighbouring primary schools.
Queen's road seems generally quiet albeit a double yellow liner and obviously not a quiet cul-de-sac. Does anyone know if this gets used a lot in peak times as a through road or does it generally stay quiet?
We are also aware of the plans for the new shopping centre... we are against this and we don't even live there yet! However I am also more of the mindset that things like this could happen anywhere and you can't always predict stuff like this.
