I think Stokes is meant to be good but not sure where to buy it from. Any other quality tomato sauces? Going off Heinz a bit.

Out of left field: Asda low sugar.
It's a lightly seasoned purée. Not too sweet, not too smooth. Delicious.

Where can I buy Rubies In The Rubble? Great name!

I buy it in Waitrose or Co-Op. Morrisons used to stock it near me. I don’t have easy access to other supermarkets.

I like it as they include surplus apples and pears in the mix. Nice and eco friendly!

Wilkin & Sons Ltd Tiptree Tomato Ketchup

Yes, this is gorgeous. And the brown sauce. And I love the little sticker on each bottle telling you who it was that bottled it.

Currently using a bottle of Hellman’s on special offer £2 and it’s very nice. I’ve been buying Tesco own brand for the past year and my ketchup loving grandchildren are happy with it.

MorrisZapp · 01/10/2024 19:36

Fussy DS like Marks and Sparks ketchup, it's a quid.

Wilkins in the glass bottle

The Lidl one is lovely

This! It’s delicious 🤤

Another Stokes fan here. You can get it on Ocado or in Waitrose. It’s a local brand here so you can buy it everywhere.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 01/10/2024 20:11

Stokes from Waitrose. M&S is foul, too sweet imho. It is their only sauce I can’t stand.

BigBundleOfFluff · 01/10/2024 20:13

Stokes! Either the original one or the Bloody Mary one is delicious.

crackfoxy · 01/10/2024 20:17

I really like M&S own brand

CoastalCalm · 01/10/2024 20:22

As much as I love stokes particularly their brown sauce for me M&S ketchup wins

This! It’s delicious 🤤

I have to keep several bottles in storage just so we never run out.

MissRabbitIsABoss · 01/10/2024 20:30

Tiptree - it's 👌

Elderflower14 · 01/10/2024 20:31

Own brand Co op is not as nice as Heinz. I use it to make bbq and sweet and sour sauces...

Silenytata · 27/03/2025 19:33

Don’t buy Tesco’s own brand. It’s not very good.

I’m not a ketchup fan, but we only buy Stokes. Loads of delis and farm shops sell it where we live.

Marmite27 · 27/03/2025 19:37

We get ALDIs. I actually prefer it to Heinz these days.

Somethingthecatdraggedin7 · 27/03/2025 19:38

I’m not buying Heinz anymore as avoiding US stuff wherever possible. I really like Tiptree ketchup

PenneyFouryourthoughts · 27/03/2025 19:57

Another vote for M&S, followed by Sainsbury’s.

HouseFullOfChaos · 27/03/2025 20:40

I've never likes Heinz, I think it's always tasted very similar to the cheapest ones you can buy. I've always bought Sainsbury's but after this thread I may take a walk to M&S to try theirs.

chocolatelover91 · 27/03/2025 20:41

Stokes! Or Aldi's ketchup is nice too!
