New car - what should I put in it?!

So excited to buy a new (to me) car, just picked it up yesterday. It’s an estate. I have two children, age 7 and 8 months. What should I put in the car? What accessories? What equipment/stuff do you keep in there? I just want to keep it clean and tidy 😂

Emergency blanket and high viz vest in case of breakdown

An old bag for life to put waterproofs and wellies in before the kids are allowed back in the car.
Armor all and a microfibre cloth in the driver's door to give it a polish whatever you're waiting for the children somewhere.

My DH has a company car, so we use a lot of stuff to protect the inside. We’ve got Royal Rascals car seat kick mats and car seat protectors. In my own boot, I have a URAQT Car Boot Organiser which is so useful.

I always keep small bottles of water in the car, I'm always parched. Carrier bags. Window cloths. Charging cable plugged into the USB.

Emergency migraine meds.

Basic toolkit in with the spare wheel including jump cables.

Make sure you know where the locking wheel nut tool is!

Small first aid kit

I have a fleece blanket in mine. It lives on the backseat where I dump my bag, coat, racquet bag, so protects my seat. Also good in breakdowns to keep warm, was stopped on M4 for hours one winter, me & the dog cuddled up with blanket. When I fold down the seats to transport big items (frequently) use it to protect seat belt clip digging into the leather of the seat.

CD's also a socket that plugs into my cigarette lighter to charge my phone (my car is a dinosaur its so old) 😂
