Milk - until what age?

How long did you regularly (as in at least once twice daily) give your DC milk as a drink?

DS is 14 and has milk before bed every night. It's never occurred to any of us to stop it, so he'll probably continue till he leaves home. 😁

Oldest child drank it nightly until he was about 9 years old. Youngest until about 2.5. DH has it about once a week ( I think he uses it as an excuse to eat almost an entire packet of cookies though).

Mine is in Y1 and still drinks a glass of cold milk with breakfast and sometimes asks for it after school or for tea. I wouldn't say 'I give him milk', it's more like a habit - he likes it, he asks for it.
To add context, he only drinks water or milk at home, with the odd occasion of apple juice in pubs/restaurants.

Milk is an alternative to water in my house. We don't do squash or fizzy drinks but sometimes she just needs something other than water and I feel it's better than the alternatives!

I work with people (adults) who happily eat a botterham and a big glass of milk every day for lunch. And have done since childhood. They have "meal deals" in shops which are just a cartoon of milk and a cheese sandwich.

My 16yr old DS often has a big glass of semi skimmed in the evening, his sister (13) only has milk on cereal or in hot chocolate, although she eats a ridiculous amount of cereal, yogurt & cheese
