If you could only buy one baby carrier, which would it be?

We have a stretchy newborn wrap. Torn between the Ergobaby embrace and the Ergobaby omni breeze or 360 for our main carrier. Which would you recommend?

Honestly I’d recommend you go to a sling library and try them on. They can feel so different to different people, and it’s a big purchase to get wrong!

Embrace only lasted me up to about 4 months. But baby was too small in the Omni 360 before then. If the stretchy wrap is working for you I'd stick with that until baby is comfortable in the Omni 360

And yes, as pp says best to try a sling library if you can

Integra baby. Brilliant carriers. I’ve used several over two babies but always gone back to the Integra, I have a toddler one as well. So light and easy to put on and off, comfy for little one, can stick them on your back when they’re bigger. Folds up small to stick in a bag

Definitely try a sling library. I had a Marsupi and a Ring Sling and they were absolutely fantastic. Marsupi was easy as anything to take on and off, so simple to adjust. Ring Sling took some getting used to but was incredible once I did. DH was able to wear both, too, without all kinds of wild adjustments.

I used a stretchy fabric wrap most with no.1 and my second lived in the ergo omni 360 for his first year!

Ergobaby 360 is great once they're big enough. We mostly use it with DD now who is 16 months, but I still occasionally use it with DS who is 3yo as a back carrier.

Nailed it. DH carried both of ours in the Tula Explore and loved it. That carrier swamped me for anything but a back carry and even then I didn’t find it comfortable. I much preferred the Integra size 1 and still use it now with DC2. I also liked my friends Tula Free to Grow. FWIW I didn’t like any Ergobaby carriers!
