I want nice shower gel

So I shower almost every day. Now we're coming into autumn, I really love an evening shower but I want a nice smelling shower gel. My 'posh' one that I reserve for Friday and Saturday night is Rituals Sakura but I'm getting bored. It doesn't have to be mega expensive but I don't like any in the supermarket. I recently tried Imperial Leather Lavender and Wild Iris which I loved, but now can't get it anywhere. I also loved the Nivea Fresh Blends green one - again, discontinued! Any recommendations???

They’ve changed the Rituals shower gel formulas recently and they’re nowhere as nice or ‘fluffy’ as before. Eagerly watching this thread!

I got one from TkMaxx. It was cheap, about £3.99, called "I love raspberry glazed donut" ( or something like that). It smells good enough to eat.

Does the almond oil make your shower floor slippy ? I need to be extra careful due to another person using it .

Surprising it doesn’t, ive had no problems with it at all, the shower floor is fine ! It’s such a lovely scent, and a little lasts ages.

I love Lush Karma shower gel and soap
It's patchouli based so appreciate not everyone will love it

I love ted baker

Waitrose does a range called Senspa - I like the relaxing shower gel (lavender) and I buy it whenever it's a third off full price. Currently I've got a verbena one from TKMaxx. I like l'occitaine but it's too expensive to justify for me really. I'm not prepared to spend much more than a fiver.

L’occitane Almond shower gel.

It’s not the cheapest but it’s absolutely gorgeous and feels very luxurious!

This is my ultimate favourite.

Aldi have a dupe of L’occitane for less than a fiver! It’s a special buy so not sure if it’s still around but it was in my local store last week.

M&S Apothecary "Restore"

I like Molton Brown Orange & Bergamot and also Black Pepper.

By coincidence, I bought some Molton Brown tonight because I was running out. I've decided to see what the new Rose Dunes is like, because it's a bit shiny and that's all it takes to persuade me if I'm honest.

White Company - Seychelles and Grapefruit are the two I like the most
L’occitane Lemon Verbena

Toddlerteaplease · 15/09/2024 18:56

Or the Verbena one. Is also nice

I was going to suggest that one.

sharpclawedkitten · 15/09/2024 21:53

This is an interesting thread. I thought it was illegal to like Molton Brown on MN!

I also like Weleda sea buckthorn.

spikeandbuffy · 15/09/2024 21:54

I was going to type a whole thing and realised it was easier to post a photo of the ones I like!
Far left is vieve bath and shower - woody, smoky, smells expensive

For cheaper I always go back to dove restoring or soothing

I want nice shower gel

Tropic Jasmine, Neroli and Vetivert pink tube. Very calming and soothing smell and lovely creamy body wash that is moisturising.

I like some Milton Brown smells but every single one dries out my skin so much and leaves it itchy. I def need to avoid SLS, hence finding Tropic works.
