What’s on your Christmas wishlist?

I’d love:

Oodie weighted blanket.
A necklace and earrings set from D Louise.
A pair of earrings from Astrid and Miyu.
Stackers jewellery box layer.
Haus Labs blush.
ELF niacinamide Power Grip Primer.

(I will not receive all of these btw).

What I'd really like
Time to read
A tidy house
Time and a babysitter to go to the theatre
Time to exercise
A good school for DS
DD not to struggle with her Y6 SATs

What I will probably get
Chocolate
Smelly stuff that isn't what I want because everyone will look at the price of what I want and say it's ridiculous.
Nice jewellery from DH
A home made card I can't read from DS
One I can read, and a calendar, from DD.
Soap from the DCs.

A snoozeband

I'm on my 3rd. They don't last forever but they are GREAT.

Tits that defy gravity
A really good shag

footgoldcycle · 15/09/2024 18:23

Someone else to organise it all.

I love Christmas but just once to just enjoy it all would be great

SauvignonBlonk · 15/09/2024 18:24

@TwigTheWonderKid
Top of my list is: a smile on your face on Christmas morning.
Second: a non rainy Christmas morning so I can go for a walk on the beach with my dogs - my Christmas treat when DD is at her dad’s.

LoveTheProms · 15/09/2024 18:26

A bottle of Chanel madamemoiselle perfume (not sure of spelling). DH just asked me weirdly while I was typing this. So I'm to get a big bottle he said, which I'm loving. @TwigTheWonderKid I hope you have a lovely Christmas (as much as can be managed) despite everything you're going through 💗 I've noticed your messages on various threads (in case I look strange).

TheGoddessMinerva · 15/09/2024 18:28

@ManderleyFan put library has The New Yorker available on the Libby app. I love it and don’t have to pay for it.

tarheelbaby · 15/09/2024 18:31

@TwigTheWonderKid , I very much hope you are able to have a good Christmas.

Last year unexpectedly turned out to be my DH's last and I think he'd say it was decent.

xx

For my grandma's cancer to still be in remission, and for her to be on the road to getting some more surgery she needs as a result of previous operations.

For my mum to not be working (she's a nurse)

In terms of physical gifts:
I'd really like a daylight lamp as I struggle with my mental health, and it's worse in winter.
There's a couple of books I'd like, so a kindle voucher so I can grab them would be lovely.
New comfy PJs and slippers.
A new ice skate bag

greengreyblue · 15/09/2024 18:37

Hope all your dreams come true @LollipopViolet

landris · 15/09/2024 18:41

I have absolutely no idea what I want for Christmas!

Perhaps I need to start thinking about it...

landris · 15/09/2024 18:44

NooNakedJacuzziness · 14/09/2024 08:49

A horse tranquilliser on Christmas Eve which lasts until Jan 2nd.

For your horse, yourself, or another family member?!

StormingNorman · 15/09/2024 18:50

First edition of my favourite book
La Chameau full zip wellies
Charbonnel & Walker chocolates

RuggedHairyTortoise · 15/09/2024 18:52

I am always about holidays and trips away. But DH says it is not a 'proper' present. He mainly buys very nice jewellery which is lovely, but I prefer an experience of some sort with him and the Dcs.

I'd love to be treated to a weekend away in a place like Bath or York or Jersey.

Tara336 · 15/09/2024 18:52

Jo Malone Candle
Coach Tabby Bag
Craft course

GameOfJones · 15/09/2024 18:54

Champneys body balm

Some nice incense sticks with a stoneware burner

Solid gold stud earrings

Chloe Nomade perfume

Bone china mugs

Cashmere bed socks

White chocolate

Davros · 15/09/2024 18:59

Ooh La La on vinyl (I have got it somewhere but it's in storage)
Lego orchid (DD has to make it)
Egyptian cat from British Museum

And now...
Olive forks

tarheelbaby · 15/09/2024 19:02

@RuggedHairyTortoise, I love a trip away too and I used to ask my DH to organise a short city break during Twixtmas. His parents would take our DDs (their gift to us) and we would have adult time for museums, restaurants, etc.

I shall miss adult time with him this Christmas.

BrieHugger · 15/09/2024 19:06

For the extended family to cancel on us and to simultaneously win an all expenses paid Caribbean holiday.

Failing that, a massive box of Lindor pick n mix (all the nutty ones, please), a small bottle of Jo Malone as my big one is too big for my bag, and maybe some new boots which I’ll probably buy myself in the January sales.

Ilovelurchers · 15/09/2024 19:09

Lush vouchers
Cinema vouchers
Hotel vouchers
Perfume
Brooches
Bedside tables in a style I like
Ditto a dressing table

Having said all that, anything given with love by the people I love and treasure would be fabulous. And I want them to enjoy the gifts I have carefully chosen with love for them......

greengreyblue · 15/09/2024 19:10

@BrieHugger love that!!

Dr13Hadley · 15/09/2024 19:12

My birthday is before Xmas and DH has just asked what I want so I've asked for:

Vouchers towards a new body protector (I'm a horse rider)
White company vouchers (I want some nice bedding)
More of my fave perfume (Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb)

Frenchcountryhomes · 15/09/2024 19:12

Peace on earth and in my family. I don’t want stuff.
