It has recently been confirmed that I have polycystic ovaries. I went for my smear today only to realise I am spotting (CD20) so not likely to be my period. The nurse was lovely and has rebooked my smear but said I must get an appointment with the doctors about my abnormal bleeding. I have health anxiety so this has caused me to spiral abit.
I am trying to be rational because it has been looked into in the past as it does occasionally happen as it's normally around mid cycle. I suppose I have gotten use to it and assumed it was all linked to having polycystic ovaries. Despite me saying this to the nurse she said to make sure I book an appointment this Monday.
Just wondered if anyone else with polycystic ovaries also experiences spotting?
