Skate club age gap is big

My 8 and 9 year old went to a skating club today. They loved it. But sadly there are no children of their age they are all around 15/16 . So they won't make friends. They are really fast as well. Looked a bit much for both ds they are so much bigger and faster then there's my 2 looking all small . They want to go again though. I do wish the age gap was not so big . I guess long as they were ok and enjoyed it.

Can't change it as it took forever to find this one.

Let them go. Mine used to go to a skateboarding place full off teenagers when they were in primary and it worried me at first, but it turned out to be brilliant for their confidence and the teenagers really looked out for them.

I wouldn't assume they won't make friends... the older children will likely 'adopt' your two if they keep going.

They liked it. That's what matters so they will definitely keep going. At first they were a bit worried. But once they realised thr older ones will just state round them they were fine. They want to go back which is good
