I need a moan - doctor not listening

Sooo frustrated. luckily the treatment I need is the same so not compromised medically. I have cerebral palsy- I don’t feel pain on the affected side in a normal way. My broken hip and arm were missed due to this. When I banged my foot on good side was worse than broken hip on affected side.
The whole thing was very efficient and quick and generally great NHS as I expected to wait ages and out in just over two hours with X-ray and opinion.

I have a broken finger. A and E brilliant and listened to me saying that I don’t feel pain - it’s on the X-ray! You gave a broken finger

Sent for a further opinion on treatment to plastics due to my grip. Need expert as hard to tell due to Cerebral Palsy. Expert - not broken - you would be in more pain. (If they said due to movement or something else fine but it’s not that.)

Arrrggggh

Quite a few doctors lack the intelligence to think outside the box and also don't listen to patients. They can't apply their learning in an adaptive way and instead, stick doggedly to what they've been told during training. People equate passing exams with being intelligent, but that's only a part of being intelligent. Other elements are just as, if not more, important. Many of them are just parrots with stethoscopes. Add to this the arrogance of believing that only they can be right and the patient is an unthinking drone and it's a recipe for disaster.

Research has recently shown that patients have better outcomes (including lower mortality) if they're seen by a female doctor - make of that what you will.

my shoulder has been in pain and a little crunchy for years ,my sensitive stomach drives me nuts gotten worst over years, and i was born with the cord wrapped my neck.So i get slight stiffness in one leg and not a perfect grip on that side. But i cant help with anything if the muscles twist up in my leg i will be off it for a few days ,the shoulder just take pain killers and apparently theres nothing wrong with my gut even though it wasn't always like this .

Is getting older just learning to live like this
