Bats are lovely. If you've been bitten by a bat and you refuse to seek medical treatment you will know within the week if it's rabid or not. Not a game I fancy playing personally.

im getting a panick attack , last night i whent outside to chevk if my son come home . like 3 in the morning when i turn around to walk back I saw flying a bat waching distand but not nerd me . i rush to go inside my house. and this morning i notice a red dot in my arm . but not recal get a bite im scare what shuold do is ony a red dot small. by the way the bat was flying by only not nerd me o nothing. but getting anxiouse thinking about if i get bite without notice

You didn't get bitten by a bat.

It wasn't a bat. It would have been one of the many insects around that bit you. The bat is trying to eat insects.

It's not impossible to be bitten by a bat, but it only happens when they're being handled, and even then it's rare. You should only handle them if you have a licence to do so.
