It must be my particular experience but I got purple straight away

I've never heard of one of the blue terms in that context.
The green connection was probably made easier by living in Canada.

@6ixThirty @IWishMyUsernameWasX there is also a little lightbulb top right on the puzzle webpage for hints. It's quite new, don't think I've used it yet

Yes, I thought I saw that the other day, but it doesn't seem to be there now (possibly only on certain devices 🤷‍♀️)

I had to use Google for clarification of a couple of words.

Purple was definitely default. And then oh so obvious of course.
