I'm separated from my husband and we're still living together. We have 2 children. At first it was sort of OK and was better for the kids but I'm finding it's starting to take it's toll on me.
Sometimes he's fine and sometimes he's quite upset and angry (not violent but can be a bit nasty) and I'm struggling with it.
I am hoping he will buy me out and I can buy another place, but I don't think we can do that until the divorce has gone through and we've settled the consent order.
If I move out and rent (obviously I'd still pay the mortgage) that will eat up my savings. Do I have any other options that wouldn't be financially risky? Could I come off the mortgage, take my half of the equity and rent for a while?
