Please be kind haha, I'm on strong pain meds after surgery ... I just can't seem to work my timings out, I feel so silly!

I've been given Flucloxacillin x4 day, either one hour before food or two hours after, ideally need to be spaced apart evenly if possible. I will be so grateful for anyone who can help me! I usually get up at 8am and go to bed at 11pm if that's helpful? Thank you so much Smile

I was postpartum when I had it so up in the nights with a baby but I took them at 3am, 9am, 3pm, 9pm which worked for me with avoiding meal times! Kicker would be how likely you are to fall back asleep if you do 3am!

8am dose 1
9am breakfast
1pm dose 2
2pm lunch
6pm dose 3
7pm dinner
11pm dose 4

They're basically best taken on an empty stomach so:

06.00
12.00
18.00
23.00, as that's when you go to bed

There will have to be compromises!
I think the spacing (maintaining blood level) is more important than the meal timing empty stomach optimising absorption).
How about one the moment you wake up (maybe set alarm for 0730 rather than 0800 for this period?); breakfast at 0800-0830 so 30 mins rather than 60 later; then one at 1230 before lunch, one at 6pm before dinner, and then one at 11pm before bed.
No snacking, so stomach is empty at dose time!
Good luck...
