Name stamps or stickers - which do you recommend?

What are the best name stamps or stickers? Where did you get yours?

I've just been using Sharpie pen until now but new school, so new uniform to label! I've seen adverts for all sorts but need some honest recommendations.

I get Petit Fernand labels for most things. I'm also planning to embroider my son's name in big letters inside the back collar of his jumpers, to avoid any confusion.

I use bean print on Etsy for stickers. Can use them on clothes and bottles.

I found if items went missing and people decided to keep it stickers etc on the label just means they can cut it out . I write on the thick part so between the back of polo and where it joins to collar. Same with jumpers. Trousers I write turn inside out and write on the pocket.
We had things especially the logod items that would go missing and never come back. So obvs being stolen

I've tried stickers, stamps, clips, sew-on labels, iron-on labels and a laundry pen. Stikins on the laundry tag are the best.

I use Sticker Jar, can customise the background colour and pattern for each and they really stay put on labels.

My son is going into year 10, we have used stickers from nametags4u since he was in nursery and have had no issues with them

Easy2Name letter transfer iron on. Absolutely bomb proof.

Cheekily commenting on this to ask-if one uses a sharpie to label clothes, do you write on the label (wouldn’t it be too small) or on the clothes (in which case, would they smudge, leak colour onto clothes) ? Also, what if clothes are dark coloured ? FTM here trying to prevent clothes from getting lost at nursery…
