Got 24 hours to myself, what to do??!!

I’m normally caring for my austistic child with very high needs and never get more than an hour or two to myself. But im in a hotel tonight, staying again tomorrow night and have a whole 24 hours to myself!

im on my own in a city. I think it would be weird if I went to a bar or restaurant by myself, but really want to make the most of the break! Any suggestions??

Gallery, bookshop, and the I'd def go to a restaurant by myself. A busy cafe or brasserie, and take a newspaper and have a glass or two of nice wine.

More walking around in the afternoon, then (ideally) a swim in the hotel pool and nice room service with reality tv in bed.

Enjoy yourself!
What would you like to do?
Walk around and enjoy the city. Pop into anything you fancy whether that be shops, museums, galleries, cinema etc
Don’t limit yourself. If you want a drink in a bar or food in a restaurant that’s fine. Nobody will be looking at you so enjoy your free time. Be brave and go with the flow of what you fancy doing.

I hope you have a nice short rest from your caring responsibilities.

Which city? I'd go to the theatre - could do matinee or evening show tomorrow

I went to plenty of restaurants by myself, work and holidays. I always take a book and never had a problem.

Unless the city you are in has something you think you would regret not seeing, just go with the flow.
And if you want to have a 3 hour nap, that's also fine.

Oooo theatre! Hadn’t thought of that. I might buy a book too and actually have the time to read it, take it out for lunch,

I literally never get to “switch off” and I think I’ve forgotten how!
