What gap for intermittent fasting?

I started intermitted fasting on Monday in order to lose some weight. I have given myself a 12 - 8 eating window, although I've been doing 1:00/1:30 - 8:00 because of work commitments.

I wanted to ask what other people doing IF are picking as their eating windows, and whether they are doing 16:8. I was also interested in hearing success/fail IF stories. Thank you.

@ohthejoys21 I only feel weak if I've worked out hard which I tend not to do on 36 hour fasts. I might go for a run fasted but don't lift.

Otherwise I don't feel weak or shaky because generally my diet is very low in sugar so I don't have hypoglycemic reaction.

Apologies @ohthejoys21 I misread your post!

No I rarely suffer from headaches generally, but if you're finding you are late in your fast, try licking some salt from your hand, or if you like marmite, some of that.

It could be because you're drinking water but not putting any sodium into your body that you would normally from food, and headaches can come from this.
