Vinted

[Confusionn]

Has anyone sold on Vinted before? I have taken the plunge and sold something for the first time today. I have to admit I don't quite know what I am doing.
First of all I was quite surprised that my item sold very quickly, within an hour. However as it is my first sale I am not quite sure of the etiquette. The buyer sent me a message to activate the sale, the same with Vinted, however the funds are still showing as 0 in both the pending and the activate balance display, even though the buyer has informed me that they have paid. Not sure if there is anything else I should be doing? Any help would be appreciated.

I only started selling through vinted a couple of months ago and had 2 dodgy messages within hours. Unluckily for the scammers I might be new to vinted but have years of ebay experience. I reported both and their accounts were deleted in hours.

I received scam messages when I first listed stuff on Vinted. Vinted deleted them very quickly. Don't do anything outside the app.

Yep this is what a real Vinted email looks like. That initial email looks dodgy as fuck, I’ve never got anything like that at all

Nope that is definitely a scam. I've sold loads on Vinted but never had a message like that!

I've never seen anything like that and I've sold a lot.

Unfortunately that's a scam. Report the account to vinted and don't engage again.

OK thanks everyone. I have just cancelled and reordered my bank cards. Feel very silly, no transactions have happened yet thankfully.
