Its very difficult to get the bowl to sing! You hold the bowl on one outstretched flat hand and with the other you hold the striker...you give the bowl a little bong and then rub the striker around on the outside of the edge of the bowl and stir it around like you are stirring a huge pot of stew. its hard to get the hang of it!
