Help! Burned fingers on drain unblocker

I think this is a LTB situation too tbh but let me tell you what's happened. We've had a slow draining shower, with standing water in the drain bit and a slight eggy smell.
DH and I have clearly both decided to have a crack at solving it independently of each other today.

I've just gone in with the drain snake thing where you shove a spring with a handle in. Only after a few wiggles, my fingers started to sting, then tingle. Then burn. Turns out DH has put drain unblocker solution down and I've had my hand in god knows what. Caustic soda??! anyway I've washed it and put in cold water. And now put Sudocrem on but my fingers feel like when I (sometimes for fun) dip them in my Scentsy wax. Like they have little caps on them. Have I removed my fingerprints ? Will I have blisters under the cream. Should I have a gin and sit and demand drinks and snacks be brought to me by acid bath boy? FFS. Any tips ? Other than planning jewel thefts with my right hand only ...

I can't see the concentration on the safety sheet but if from my lab days, if your skin feels soapy when you rinse it, that's your skin melting off in crude terms. 1% to 10% could be anything??

This says seek medical attention if symptoms persists https://shop.acopia.co.uk/files/products/28161_Sink%20&%20Drain%20Unblocker%20Gel.pdf

Thanks. They felt like that at first when I was washing for the first few seconds but that went pretty quickly.

That's good news. I spilt a lot of alkaline over myself in the lab. I stopped rinsing when the soapy feeling passed. That's my very limited advise. Which is possibly not much good
