I missed the end of the last thread, so I'm doing a catch up on recipes.
Something a relative made up and I adapted is a sort of oily vegi er thing.
Slices of mushrooms, peppers, olives, a few fresh herbs and a whole clove of garlic.
Pack in to a jam jar / kilner jar and pour over olive oil. Make sure the oil covers everything. Leave for a week and eat with crust bread.
You can use any veg you have, I sometimes add capers, the inventor uses anchovies but onions, chives, chillies, whatever you have grown would work.
It looks nice so I have made it for presents a couple of times.
