Taylor tickets

thisisasurvivor · 30/05/2024 12:21

My friends daughter sadly died due to a brain tumour

Two oldest girls would love to see Taylor swift

Trying to get them tickets

Any reputable sites that anyone has used?

They will go anywhere in Europe

Thanks in advance

You need to find someone with a code. Myself and a friend applied to every venue in Europe (both of us!) and ended up with 4 codes between us for 4 different venues.

We went to Stockholm and because I’d only bought 2 out of the permitted 4 tickets with the code, I got an email a couple of days before saying that because of reviewed capacity at the venue they were putting a limited number of tickets back on sale for the standing zones- this is very last minute as I think it’s when they’ve built the stage etc. I’ve had the same email for Edinburgh next week. Find someone with the code, get them to watch for the mail and be prepared to fly v v last minute.

It’s insane, she barely leaves the stage for 3.5 hours! Absolutely worth flying for!!! Wishing you the best of luck.

I'd say only go through legit channels like ticketmaster, so many people will have been scammed and not know it until they try and enter the venue, once she starts in the UK we will hearing stories of this happening to some very heartbroken young fans! It's so tempting to read on here or social media about tickets for sale but it's too much of a risk.
I hope you do get lucky but you will have to be searching every day, like another poster said they are probably setting up the staging these next few days in the UK so tickets could become available if they have more space than they first anticipated!

I check AXS / Ticketmaster multiple times a day; have been for the last few months and no luck. I've also got the twickets alerts set up which seems the next best / safest option after AXS / Ticketmaster.

I've been watching the prices on stubhub and seen that they come right down on the day before / day of the event so I think I'm going to wait and just risk it with some lower price tickets- we are only an hour from Wembley and I will manage our expectations in case we get scammed or turned away at the door.

The other option is there is a resale thread on Reddit. It is fan to fan, completely unofficial and no recourse so again high risk of scamming but there are quite a few European tickets, I've seen a few for Edinburgh, not many for London yet.

Twickets now has the dates listed but no availability as yet. Saw a VIP package come up for Edinburgh. 750 pounds. For that she would have to come to our house and do the gig

thisisasurvivor · 03/06/2024 21:47

Wow 750

That is just insane

I don't think I will have much luck

Just wanted something to cheer these little ones up after all they have been through

A potential idea @thisisasurvivor is to look at Taylormania

She is a Taylor swift tribute act who is currently on tour. Someone started a post in here a couple of weeks ago asking about her.

We have been and whilst not a comparable / replacement for the real thing it was a really fun evening. And tickets were £30 a head!

Extra seats for Edinburgh were released last weeks. They weren’t amazing tickets (behind the stage but with a view if the catwalk/massive screens) so I’m not sure other stadiums will do the same closer to the time

TokyoSushi · 03/06/2024 22:42

There's one for Edinburgh on Sunday for £439 on Twickets and 1 each on Friday & Saturday for £750+

Pedallleur · 04/06/2024 06:53

Taking my daughter to see Taylor mania. Of course it's not the million dollar production but the singer seems to do a great show, singing the big songs to a roomful of screaming girls and their mums. Judging by the schedule she is doing great business playing venues up to a 1000 a night in a town near you and she has 2025 dates. So you could see her every few months. She is 15 mins drive from us and I'll expect my daughter to be sung out when she comes home.

not sure why you keep bumping this thread, people aren't commenting because there isn't really any other useful information to give you. Especially if you aren't willing to help yourself by using google to find out very readily available information such as tour dates and locations.

The crux of it is: this show is really in demand and it is very hard to get tickets because so many people are after them. The only way to get tickets firsthand it to be lucky enough to get a code, which you had to register for 12 months ago, and hope more are added by organisers (often happens once stage is set up). Official secondhand tickets on AXS & TM (other sites for mainland Europe) do not require a code and do come up, but they are like gold dust, many fans are frantically searching obsessively. Unofficial secondhand tickets come with risks of being scammed and are in many case massively inflated price wise.

There is no magic way of getting ahold of tickets being hidden from you. It's being lucky enough to check when some pop up. That's all there is.

Pedallleur · 12/06/2024 12:04

As above! OP whats your budget? If 3 x £500 become available have you got the money and time? Anfield, cardiff and Wembley are the venues here. So £1500 approx, a day or 2 off travelling there and back then food, hotel, train fares, petrol? No one is going to let their ticket go unless its been bought to sell on. The reviews have been excellent so that in itself ups the demand.
