Haha! I had a complete nightmare with accidentally overtyping. My tablet is quite old and sometimes has a bad day where the keyboard doesn't react quickly enough.

I didn't have any problems but I already subscribe, having signed up nearly a year ago on the very cheap offer for the puzzles only.

I'm interested to find out if they've removed the free access to PlusWord.

I received an email a few days ago warning me that my subscription renewal date was approaching and that the annual amount was increasing to £49. I rarely play the other puzzles so £49 is a bit steep. When I went to cancel, selecting the "it's too expensive" option, it offered me 12 months for £5. There was a message there saying that I'd be missing out on all the puzzles, including PlusWord.

I declined the £5 offer and it then offered me the next 12 months free!

Yes, I get a blank page too. I already subscribe to the newspaper, so I was hoping that I didn't have to subscribe to the puzzles too.

They have offered me a year's sub for £1 which is good.

Thanks so much guys. You'd think they'd have put a pop-up or warning or something at least to explain what was happening. It's a real shame they've put it behind a pay wall. I'll have to have a think about whether a subscription is worth it.

I've subscribed today, as I thought £1 was acceptable to get a year's fix of Plusword!

There appears to be an error in today's puzzle (881). One of the across answers has a letter appear twice and coloured twice, which should mean it appears twice in the PW, but it doesn't. (The puzzle editor has previously said that is how the rule should work).
