Ocarro pram - a good buy or would you recommend something else?

Looking for a main pram/travel system with good suspension

Went to push the Bugaboo Fox5 and Mamas and Papas Ocarro and didn’t really feel much difference between them, but the Ocarro is much cheaper.

I have seen some people say though that it is incredibly bulky and they wish they had bought something else. If this is or was your pram are you happy with it or is there another you’d recommend?

We had the occaro. Not sure how helpful I can be as it's the only pram we have ever had! We didn't do much research before buying as found all the choice overwhelming. Overall I would say we have been happy with it - it is easy to get up and down and does fit into our small car, and have never had any issues getting through doors when out. Our son has been happy in it as well - he fits snuggly in it and doesn't flop down which he prefers.

However, taking the top on and off was a bit of a faff to do often and I have definitely seen others out and about which look much easier to move about and more compact - it is maybe a bit heavy but I got used to it. I would buy it again if the price difference was huge as it's a good pram and does what you need it to, but if price is less of an issue I would probably go for the less bulky option.

My neighbour had this for her son who's now 4
It was a gift so she was grateful but found it extremely heavy and took up a lot of space in her VW golf
I can't imagine it was easily manoeuvrable around shops, but I didn't push it

We found it very heavy and bulky. Ended up replacing with a nuna mixx

Ooo I can help!

so I did the same, I love Fox 5 but Occaro seemed sensible. So I bought the occaro second hand for £100 off fb marketplace (there’s so many). It’s now been in my house 1 month and I hate it. I don’t mind, max loss is £100 but we will keep it as the dirty pram. Going to get the fox 5 in desert taupe.

We got one second-hand for £100, never really tried any others but I liked it, really easy to push even off road, nice solid build and fitted fine in our car boot. Yes it's bulky but we never had trouble getting it through doorways etc. If I was buying from new I might try and find something lighter but for what we paid it was great.

We loved it, with the caveat we didn’t put it in the car often at all and walked a lot.

Ours even managed a few Parkruns reasonably well!

It is kind of heavy but I love it! Would recommend and the fact that it's all terrain, it's never let me down. My nuna mixx was always getting stuck in mud/leaves etc.
