How to find driving license number

Urgently need my DL number and lost my purse yesterday. Can anyone think where I can get it in advance of reordering I have tried:

government website, doesn’t let me access
camera roll
car agreement
compare the meerkat quotes
emails

I think I am giving up and will have to order and hope it comes quickly. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Car insurance documents?

We have an online portal with our insurer and can see the details inputted for the policy including our license numbers

Work insurance policy?
Photograph of it if you used to hire a card abroad/hire paperwork from holidays? Hire self driver van?
Any cars for sale in a local garage you've had to give info to to test drive a car?

Be careful with someone else having your driving license number. I learned the other day that it’s all you need for someone to claim you were the one driving and put points on your license!

Car insurance, or any of the comparison websites you might have used - sometimes the details are stored in previous quotes.

If it's any consolation I renewed my DL last week and the new one arrived about 3 days later.

I’ve got it! I realised I had written down a fee handy details including DL number is a book. Found it and then with the number you can look it up online so it gave me the issue year. Relieved! Thanks all.
