Can anybody help me with a Universal Credit question?

My pay date is changing until the last working day of each month from the 26th currently.

My current UC assessment period is the 28th to 27th of each month.

I'm struggling to work out if this is going to cause me any issues for my next payment, can anybody here advise?

Hi yes it possibly will because when it changes, you are going to have a month where you have no pay day falling in your assessment period but after that it should right itself again. I don't know if the month where you will have no pay day will cause a problem with UC - it could look like you aren't working and they call you in for an appointment. I think it's perhaps wise to leave a note on your journal just to explain that pay day has moved. So if the change occurs this month, you will have no pay reported. I think it should be fine as will just be a one off but best to let them know.
