Just that really. My fitness is a bit shit but I’ve started weight training again, I have about 15lbs of flab to lose, am 41 so perimenopause around the corner and while I eat a reasonably healthy, plant based diet I don’t really know anything about macros/protein etc
basically I like the idea of going to a nutritionist to get a bit of a plan in place to lose the weight, then maintain sustainably, use my diet to boost my fitness, use my diet to be more aware of regulating my hormones etc. but there’s so much info just on the internet I get overwhelmed and even though I don’t have an ED I have a fractious relationship with food so someone just telling me what to do rather than another reason to be thinking about food all the time appeals.
Is the financial investment of consultations with nutritionists worth it or does anyone have a book they’d recommend at all?
