Excuse Me, Are you a Dragon?

I was walking through the campus of Manchester Met University today. Three students were running towards me and one said to me “Excuse me, are you a dragon?” I smiled and said sorry I wasn’t a dragon and they continued running past me. Anyone know what that was about? They were each clutching a piece of paper, but I didn’t see what was on it.
I wish I’d said “ YES I’m a dragon” now, I think I’d quite like to be a dragon 🐉

Only a wild guess, but this year is the Chinese year of the dragon, so maybe some type of 'treasure ' hunt, where they had to find someone who has a dragon birth year .

Ooo I really hope someone can enlighten you us.
Would also be thinking a treasure hunt/competition of some kind.

Sounds awesome. Maybe it's a good thing you were honest and said no; you might've accidentally ruined their next message to their next clue.

I'm a dragon and my DD is too, married to a tiger and my son is one too... But I've never been stopped in the street and wish you'd said yes too... Maybe you'd have been given some gold to guard.
