NYT crossword: I got a couple of the 'across' clues and thought 'really? Surely not!' . Wasted a good couple of minutes trying to think what else it could be!

@CurlewKate 😄. I find it hard sometimes with the down words too to visualise them. Especially on bigger crosswords.
