How much do you pay for your cleaner?

Just out of interest. I’ve been quoted £100 for 3 hours, 2 cleaners working together. It seems a bit steep, or am I tight? Thanks

I think it fair. U are paying for 6 hours not 3

£17.50 /hour self employed. She's my neighbour to which is handy, I don't have a regular booking, she just rescues me when my parents decide to visitGrin

Her husband is a gardener and odd job man who charges the same, also really useful to know

We're in the west country and pay £18-20 an hour for one cleaner. So seems pretty reasonable?

Toddlerteaplease · 06/04/2024 09:58

Mines just gone up to £18ph

I used to pay £15 per hour 5 years ago, so that would be £90. Sounds reasonable if they are good at cleaning.

I pay £16 per hour in the South East, but I’ve got friends in London paying £18-£20. It really depends on the area and if you're going through an agency or hiring privately. A friend of mine switched to maid service meridian and found their prices reasonable for the quality. Some cleaners bring their own supplies, while others expect you to provide them, so it’s worth checking that beforehand.
