Baby Jailyne 💔

Been following the story of the monster who left her 18 months old for 10 days while she went on holiday.

I saw a video of the neighbours ring bell and you can hear her crying at 1am after 3 days. I can't help but feel extremely sad to my core for what that poor baby went through. She looks so much like my own baby and I just couldn't !! I really can't get over it 💔

I read this yesterday & also can’t stop thinking of her, little Angel

governmovern · 25/03/2024 21:41

I've just read this.

Abhorrent, I wish I could unread it.

Poor, poor baby girl. I just can't.

butterflywingss · 25/03/2024 21:59

I can't help but feel so angry at the neighbours as well. Apparently they had confronted her previously about leaving the baby alone but chose not to follow up with police. The family is horrendous as it is. The more I'm reading into it, the more gut wrenching it is

I hadn’t heard of this.

I almost wish I hadn’t read it. Sad

RosaSkyes · 25/03/2024 22:05

Agree about the neighbours . I’m not exaggerating to say if I heard a baby crying in desperation for hours on end, I would of course call the police and failing that you’d break in.

it is abhorrent and harrowing

GoldenOstrich · 25/03/2024 22:06

The baby should get taken off them. You should call social services now

RosaSkyes · 25/03/2024 22:07

@GoldenOstrich this is a desperately sad case that has recently gone to trial in the US

Soubriquet · 25/03/2024 22:09

Oh that’s heartbreaking. If you knew the mother left her baby alone a lot, as a person with a heart!!, you would call the police when she cried for hours. It’s shocking no one did

hereshegoesagain36 · 25/03/2024 22:21

Neighbours are just as much to blame. They knew that poor baby was in there alone.

CavalierApproach · 25/03/2024 22:27

Oh my god — that is horrific. Genuinely shocking.

Somehow reading about the impact on the pathologist and detectives and so on has really got me. Poor baby, just beyond belief

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 25/03/2024 22:40

It is horrific. I read some details and can't stop thinking about it. :(

ButterflyKu · 25/03/2024 23:08

Oh gosh, this is just awful. Very similar to what Verphy Kudi did. I don’t understand how you can leave your baby alone for days on end. How on earth would they be able to survive? Just awful

butterflywingss · 25/03/2024 23:15

It was definitely an intentional kill because the mother left her and then came back and then left again for 7 days making the total of 10 days . I read somewhere the father lives in Ecuador and didn't have legal papers to go to the USA. However, the grandparents lived with this woman but had taken the oldest to Ecuador but refused to take the little one because they had somewhat rejected the baby because of the father's humble bringing. That all implies they knew the baby was alone. Also as a neighbour I could not sit back knowing a mother had left her baby alone for days without intervening. Sometimes you do need to get into people's business..

Was this the case in the UK of the girl who left her 2 year old to celebrate her 18th for 6 days ?

Yes that’s exactly the one! Just awful

Oh my god, just read this story whilst snuggled up in bed with my 17mo and it's genuinely made me sob. The bit about the baby having faeces in her mouth and under her fingernails... she must have been absolutely frantic with hunger and fear. This is the first time I've really actively hoped that a perpetrator will be violently harmed by their fellow inmates. Life in prison doesn't seem, on its own, like a harsh enough punishment.

I didn't know she went back and left her for a further 7 days. Wtf! The family are calling for leniency :o

I cried so much hearing what the doctor talked about! It makes me so angry to think as a mother you ate and slept and drank all 10 days KNOWING your vulnerable small small baby is all alone in the dark with no access to water or food but her own faeces 💔💔 no excuse that woman comes out with will ever justify what she's done..

It's so sickening!! It's so sad that not one family fought for that baby's justice. The fact when she came back home and changed her daughter's clothes and then called the police with a fake story is just shocking. What's even worse is 1 day after she came back she went back to Detroit to meet one of the guys she was out on holiday with, that tells you how premeditated it was.

That poor baby. Absolutely vile, I've read and seen some horrific things in child protection work but seeing stories like this make me feel physically unwell. I can't fathom the longevity of the human race when we have capacity for such cruelty.

If.the neighbors knew the baby was alone and.they heard the baby crying on end they should.be held responsible as well.we all have eyes and ears to do what is right they chose to ignore it as well and.they easily could have went in and checked.on the Lil angel baby I wish God sent his angels this day Mayne even someone running 🏃‍♀️ by but this has broken my heart and.ive been crying all day and praying that all the women that are going through this will get help from family friends and neighbors moms have options and sooo do family's have to check on your loved ones call 📞 and.pop up your support is needed

I really can't fathom how neighbours KNEW she left the baby in the past alone and heard her screams and chose to mind their business. As a human being with a heart and a mother if I knew information like that, I don't think I could mind my business without checking in or either calling the police to do a health check. I had an argument with my DH once and my upstairs neighbour came knocking on my door to ask if I needed help and if he was hitting me and I am an adult.
