Selling on Vinted and labels for posting

Having bought a few things on Vinted over the past couple of months, I want to list a few things myself. I've read the information on Vinted but just can't work out the posting 🙈. If someone buys something, then I package it up and take it to the drop off point (with no label on it?) and get a label printed out there? Is that right? Do I need to pay for the label?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I'm just not sure of the process!

I'd like to know this too. I'm hoping to start selling too after a year of buying rather a lot! How does it work out the delivery charge? Do I need to input it? If I send a parcel through Royal Mail then I'd weigh it at the PO. Will I need to weigh things before I list them?

When you list an item it’ll suggest what size parcel that will be, eg small for a tshirt large for a pair of boots and the buyer has this cost added to the sale.

What I tend to find as well is that things either sell pretty quickly or they sit there for ages, I think the algorithm gives priority to new listings.

So what I do now is when I have a few things to list I’ll do a couple at a time to keep the listings visible rather than all in one go.

Sold 2 items already, pretty pleased with that!

Sorry to butt in, but can you choose only Royal Mail with collection? Otherwise wouldn't bother as the alternatives mean a drive to town, so petrol and parking fees to pay.

I don't know about algorithms, but when I look for something, I always search by newest. I don't trust any 'best match' filtering. There's no option of searching by oldest.

I just use RM, as I don't have a printer. I also don't want to drive to post things. I have a post office at the end of my road so it's really easy.

I don't have a printer but my best one shop has a scanning machine that prints labels Is this acceptable
