Or is it too far to travel for 4 nights?
Flight on the Monday at 6am
Flight home Friday 7pm
Booking everything separately and it's £85 each flights (return )
And £270 4 nights all inclusive
So it's such a bargain
£355 total
I'm just unsure if it's too far to go

Can I have all the details please,I'll meet you on the plane 😎
Brilliant flight times,I'd definitely go for it.

hby9628 · 23/02/2024 20:09

Absolutely it will be beautiful at that time of year and definitely worth the travel time.

herbygarden · 23/02/2024 20:13

Why not! Sounds AMAZING!!!

mycatsanutter · 23/02/2024 20:29

Yep , go ! Those are brilliant flight times . We did Lanzarote for 4 nights , loved it.

Snoopystick · 23/02/2024 20:34

Yes! We went to Fuerterventura to a ‘posh’ for 3 nights when we were desperate for a break

Snoopystick · 23/02/2024 20:35

‘Posh’ hotel

fedupenough · 23/02/2024 20:35

Another one here who has done Lanzarote for four nights, well worth you going to Tenerife!

VWT5 · 23/02/2024 20:45

Airport checkin will be 4 a.m. plus travel time to the airport.
4 hour flight
Prob 2 hrs at the other end (1 to clear airport, up to 1 for transfer)…

Katherineryan1986 · 23/02/2024 20:52

My daughter and her partner did just this 2 weeks ago, they had a lovely break - yes they would have liked longer, but work and money meant that a 4 night break was what they could have.

littlebritains · 23/02/2024 21:00

What luggage would everyone take for 4 nights ?
Ryanair have a small bag then paying for suitcases
Either 10kg or 20kg

If all inclusive, you need very little. If self catering, I’d take more stuff

Roselilly36 · 24/02/2024 07:38

take priority board you get small bag& 10kgs, would be plenty for a short break.

FiveShelties · 24/02/2024 07:39

Absolutely

Toomuch44 · 24/02/2024 08:07

We've done four night city breaks, so why not somewhere like Tenerife if you fancy it. Unless you're near an airport, half of your travel time will easily be travelling to airport/check in, so an extra hour or two on a plane wouldn't make much difference to me.

Isanyonereallyanonymous · 24/02/2024 08:46

I did it 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Flew out at 6am Saturday, landed and at my accomodation by 11am. Flight home on Wednesday at 11am.
The Saturday was a bit brutal because I was up at 1am to get to the airport etc and I don’t go to bed till midnight-ish usually but I knew I’d just have it as a chill day so I wasn’t too fussed.
Absolutely loved it and I’d do it again, it’s a relativley short flight all things considered and no time difference. I couldn’t believe the difference just having 4 days away somewhere warm and sunny made. Do it!

Edit - I paid for priority plus which is priority boarding (doesn’t really make any difference tbh) but meant I could take 2 small cabin bags - 1 was a handbag or rucksack, the other was a little carry on case. They were checking sizes and strict with it but I’d checked mine were ok in advance. I easily had enough space for stuff for the 4/5 days that way. Also, easy enough to buy things out there if wanted/needed.

Broodywuz · 24/02/2024 08:49

Probably not woth kids but otherwise absolutely, sounds great!

littlebritains · 24/02/2024 09:35

Thanks everyone
I've booked the hotel
Going to do the flights later today
Only going to add 1 10kg case on and use the small bags
I'm really excited now

I went for 2 nights years ago! Arrived early Friday afternoon, came back Sunday evening.

Beezknees · 24/02/2024 13:03

Yeah. I've been to New York for 4 nights.

newaccountoldlurker · 24/02/2024 13:05

I did 3 nights earlier this month, only took under seat bag, weather was beautiful, ordered my toiletries to boots to collect in airport so didn't need to faff with 100ml stuff taking up clothes space

UngratefulOldCabbage · 24/02/2024 14:21

I went last year for a week and took a rucksack! For the whole week! Perfectly doable as I took a handwash liquid for my clothes and everything dried super quick in the sunshine. Saved me the hassle of waiting for luggage etc. If I lived nearer an airport I'd do this sort of thing very often!!

littlebritains · 24/02/2024 15:23

Are Ryanair quite strict with the bag policy?
If I take my small under seat bag -can I still take my small handbag with purse and phone in ?
