Anyone remember the 12 Days of Christmas MASSIVE table decoration centrepiece for sale on eBay?

It only bloody sold on Christmas Day! I've been watching this for literally years since I found out about this glorious monstrosity from Mumsnet. But looking at my ended watched items and it's finally sold!!

Yeah, it hasn't sold, it's just been relisted. Probably as it had been on so long.

Apparently it cost more than £699 to make....not sure I believe that!

He/she also provides the themed menu that they served with it...but not some sort of egg recipe "sorry, secret recipe but I'm sure you can improvise" Grin

What you buy with that one is the right to make as many copies as you like for sale.

If mass produced and in shops these would fly out, only made a few this year due to ill health

Is it made with Twiglet tubs fixed together? I think someone is seriously deluded if they think this would cause a mass sell out.

If I was a manufacturer and interested in it,I would have already snapped this idea up. But as it's been on ebay for a couple of years, it's not gonna fly anywhere.
Perhaps the seller should try Dragon's Den [if that's still going]. 😀

EDITED to add: sorry I mistook what I now think is supposed to be one of three French Hens for the partridge. That's still not a partridge. I think thats a disguised pigeon.
