Can anyone inspire me with things to do while on bed rest?

Am really stuck for inspiration.

I love to be busy. But have to have regular bed rest.

I read a lot, watch TV, do Duolingo, sometimes play Xbox games with the children.

But I am bored and fed up about it. And it's likely to always be a feature of my life. So I would love some inspiration of things I could try. I don't mind spending a bit (thankfully I can earn well as my job is sedentary)

What about water colour pencils? You draw with pencils then get a wet brush and apply over the top, it transforms your picture into a painting. Really fun and quite satisfying for someone like me with zero artistic skill.

Have you researched your family tree? You could get a subscription to Find My Past or Ancestry.

How about comping?I love to enter competitions when I have the time.Theres a great Facebook page called Lucky Learners by Di Coke 😊

Buy a keyboard and learn to play, there’s lots of apps to help.

Meditate

Cross stitch, gem art, non fiction books, read/write poetry, research recipes to cook when you can.
The Samaritans has an email service - I wonder if you could train as a volunteer for this as it wouldn't involve speaking on the phone.
Do an online course?

Could you get out and about in an electric wheelchair/electric scooter?

If you’re open to writing letters there’s a whole world of pen pals out there. I am on Pen Pal World but there are dedicated Facebook groups ( search Snail Mail).

Sorry I should specify - to find someone to write to you can use those groups. Pen Pal World has people who email each other but I’m a traditional pen / paper writer myself.
