It's winter holiday time for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day this week I'll bring you some photos of what they are doing. Karin, Ludwig, Jonas and Steffi have arrived at the Ski Lodge for their winter holiday. Renate greets them at the door.

Will there be Gluhwein for the adults?

I just want to see Apollo ( pinching sausages) and the Puddingheads. Do they get holidays?

I should think there might be gluhwein - or maybe blue wine? I think Apollo and the puddingheads are more likely to appear in a summer holiday, as those people aren't really dressed for winter!

Today the family are heading out up the mountain.

They are having a go at curling on a frozen pond.

I hope the roads are clear, or they will need to put chains on their tyres!

Oh dear, Jonas has prodded Steffi with the broom, and she has fallen over!

After curling they visit a local kiosk where Ludwig buys them hot dogs.

He also gets them drinks from the drinks dispenser.

After that they fancy something sweet. The children choose gingerbread hearts, Karin buys a bar of chocolate and Ludwig has a packet of sweets.

What playmobil set is this? I love it!

My boys both loved their playmobile and for me it was my favourite toy to buy them. Happy memories

@Kalettesarethebest it's a mixture of sets! The curling set is this one PlaymoDB Set Inventory - 6560 the car is this set PlaymoDB Set Inventory - 9281 and the kiosk is from this set PlaymoDB Set Inventory - 71453. The only one of these sets currently available from Playmobil is the last one, which was new this year.

We do have a Playmobil hospital! But let's hope it won't be needed.

@amieloue if you search using the words "for the Playmobil people in our house" you should find most of them. They vary from quite small ones like this to quite large ones for royal weddings, and the Playmobil pandemic one which ran over a long period of time.

I sold all our playmobil on ebay last year so I'm also feeling nostalgic. I think I enjoyed playing with it more than DC did.
I sold a hospital - maybe you bought it OP (clings on to hope it could become famous)

@Lifeinlists our Playmobil hospital was one of the sets which originally belonged to ds. I think we probably had it from about 2008 or so. But I do buy some Playmo 2nd hand off eBay.

Curling queen in ma heid and so I heartily approve.

I too worry about the lack of snow chains. Folly.

Perhaps the hot dog shall fortify them should digging/pushing be required.

I do love a vibrant orange outfit.
