To be fair, I watched he's him in a French TV series called Inhuman Resources and he was actually very good if you fancy some more of your hairy eye candy!

I initially thought it was a joke seeing as the show is full of funny skits.

Well that has cheered me up after a truly awful day - that, and the comments about it here! As DH says: In France, this is normal...in England, it's just....not brilliant. In fairness, it sounds a lot better recorded.

I couldn't quite believe my eyes, or ears, either. It was very French. Normal in France. For a British Saturday night? Not so much. I suppose it makes a change from the bland stuff we usually get. Wonder if Graham Naughton will have him on? I spent the whole three minutes (was it three minutes? Felt like half an hour) trying to decide if it was awful or genius. But yes, he does take himself very, very seriously. The bit with Michael afterwards was funny, as EC obviously didn't understand the questions but had his own answers. M coped very well with that. What a great show! Hope it wins loads of awards.

Watch the episode that had Alison Hammond - I think it was the week before last. Was a terrific show.
